Research

Research activities at the LPCA are structured around three research “Poles”, with each of these Poles consisting of one or more Groups. Two Poles, one related to theoretical physics (“Theory”) and the other to experimental physics (“Particles and Universe”), perform research on the structure of matter, its fundamental interactions and cosmology. A third Pole (“Physics for Health and the Environment”) focuses on physics applications in health- and environment-related topics.
